This process required the victim to provide personal details and a photo of their driver’s license. The victim subsequently deposited cryptocurrencies into the account and began trading. Sandy claimed that if the victim assisted her financially, she would reciprocate by enhancing the victim’s account balance. The platform displayed an impressive investment value of $281,992; however, when the victim attempted to withdraw funds, they were confronted with a demand to pay over $40,000 in taxes to the IRS.
